Hello Everyone!
There was an exciting Holyoke Invitational Slo-Pitch Softball tournament three days ago on June 6th, in Springfield, Mass. chaired by Bruce Beston. We, the NEAAD officers would like to tip our hats to Bruce for his hard work during the tournament on such a short notice. With his help, the tournament itself was a huge success.

Hartford 4 wins 0 loss

The top four teams went for a single elimination bracket and the result was:
Hartford won 27 to 5 over North Shore while MetroWest defeated Holyoke by 24 to 11.
The consolation game was played by Holyoke and North Shore. Holyoke got a victory over
North Shore by 22-11. Hartford and MetroWest played against each other in an exciting
championship game. Hartford scored 12 runs in the first. MetroWest followed up with 10 runs
in the bottom of the inning. After a long hard fought game, well into dusk, Hartford prevailed
with a score of 26-16.
