Greater Bridgeport Deaf Club will host 11th Annual Men's & 5th Annual Women's Winter Basketball Classic on Saturday January 7, 2012 at American School for the Deaf located on 139 North Main Street, West Hartford, CT.

There will be 6 participating teams at the tournament, they are as follow: New England Outlaws, New Jersey Warriors, Vermont, Fanwood Alumni Assoication, Bridgeport and Brooklyn.

Here is the schedule:

Please all team show up before your first game 30 minute.

Game 1 @10 AM: Outlaws vs NJ Warriors

Game 2 @ 11:15: Vermont vs FAA

Game 3 @ 12:30 PM: Winner GM 1 vs BPT

Game 4 @ 1:45: Winner GM 2 vs Brooklyn, NY

Game 5 @ 3 PM: GM 1 loser vs GM 2 loser

Game 6 @ 4:15: GM 3 loser vs GM 4 loser

Game 7 @ 5:30: GM 3 Winner vs GM 4 Winner

~ The game will be played under 20 minutes halves with running clock. The clock will stop at shooting free throws and time outs. Also, when the game clock is under 3 minutes, clock will stop at any dead balls.

~ Time outs will be shared on Saturday January 7th after meeting with the referees and announced before start of your game. It will remain the same throughout the day.

~ There will be students on campus therefore all coaches are responsible for the behavior/conduct of their roster through waiver form.

There will be NO SMOKING ON CAMPUS AS WELL AS CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL BEVERAGES AND ILLEGAL DRUGS OF ANY KIND. Any one caught will be asked to leave the campus immediately and forfeit refund rights. Team may lose the prize if more than 2 on the roster were caught ignoring the warning. The campus is smoke free so if you want to smoke cigarettes, you need to go off campus.

~ Reminder, if any team has 11 or less on the waiver form, team still has to pay $120.00 minimum as stated on the flyer to cover referee cost. If there are 12 or more on the roster, it will be $10.00 per name on the waiver form.

~ Team prizes will be announced on Saturday when all participating teams showed up on court. Have a good game and time. Please display sportsmanship through out the day... BPT greatly appreciated your participation in our 11th Annual Winter Classic.
